Key Responsibilities
- Handle stop and replace payment requests, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of check-related activities
- Process non-financial service requests including pulling transcripts, compiling reports, and drafting correspondence
- Investigate payment issues (e.g., lost or misdirected checks) and coordinate resolutions across internal teams
- Work closely with internal partners (e.g., wire room and operations teams) to gather details and complete requests
- Maintain and update tracking logs (e.g., Excel) for payment activity and outstanding requests
- Aid in client support by assisting with inquiries and providing updates through professional written communication
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including supporting AI-driven enhancements to streamline manual workflows
- Manage a consistent volume of tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive in completing assigned work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or operations (preferred)
- Exposure to payment processing or transaction-based workflows (preferred)
- Familiarity with Excel for tracking and reporting (preferred)
- Interest or experience in automation or AI tools (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred)
