A growing multibillion dollar hedge fund in the NYC area is seeking to expand its team. Location: NY (TriState area).
Responsibilities
- Oversight and review of trade, position, and cash reconciliations
- Maintenance of portfolio management system and shadow general ledger
- Collaborating with brokers and service providers to ensure daily operational health
- Valuation oversight across complex instruments
- Tracking and review of portfolio financing and margin requirements
- Cash and position transfers for portfolio financing optimization
- Maintaining and enhancing the internal control framework
- Preparation of client reporting deliverables
- Preparation of internal management reporting
- Oversight of regulatory filings
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with hedge fund operations
- Ability to operate in a fast-growing, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience with Claude AI
