Operations Associate
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Associate to perform operational activities associated with emergencies and other real time grid conditions. Help us reduce the impact of climate change by reducing GHG emissions, reducing the use of fossil fuel plants and avoiding rolling blackouts to make a safer and healthier planet for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for ensuring Olivine meets all of its responsibilities to ensure success of the programs we implement and administer.
- Act as primary point of contact for all dispatch operational activities including reporting.
- Perform operations in your area working with appropriate program and department managers.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to share knowledge, develop expertise and to ensure operational excellence is achieved.
- This is an onsite role with hours until 7 p.m. HST, 10am- 7:00pm work day. Work days can include one weekend per month.
- Ensure management, team members and partners are kept up to date on status’, capture escalations and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Previous demonstrated operations experience
- Knowledge of web applications, databases, and technical savvy
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven operational experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire teamwork
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment balancing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of demand response and energy wholesale markets is a plus

Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000- $90,000 depending upon experience
