Operations Associate

About the role

As an Operations Associate on Lime’s Midwest Operations team, you will enhance our fleet, optimize warehouse and field teams, and serve as the local eyes and ears to understand rider needs in Indianapolis. This warehouse-based position requires an on-site presence during assigned business hours and offers the opportunity to shape the future of mobility in the region.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and coach Mechanics and Fleet Support staff responsible for repairing, deploying, and retrieving shared electric vehicles.
• Build a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment to supply a fully operational fleet for Indianapolis and surrounding regions.
• Define new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence in the warehouse and field.
• Partner cross-functionally on operations projects to identify expansion opportunities within your regions.
• Define and monitor KPIs measuring profitability, revenue, and operational performance.
• Provide complaint management and investigate customer incidents.
• Partner with the local Government Relations representative to manage key legal, regulatory, and safety issues.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, regulators, city officials, employees, and Lime management.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to drive local initiatives for revenue growth.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional work experience; ideally 1+ year in an Operations role.
• Background in industrial engineering or operations management.
• Experience leading teams or groups.
• Demonstrated expertise with the Indianapolis region and ability to anticipate operational needs or challenges.
• Growth and continuous improvement mindsets with the ability to work in ambiguous environments.
• Self-starter and sound decision-maker with a data-driven, cost-focused approach.
• Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
• Intermediate+ experience with Excel and Google Sheets (Tableau & SQL a bonus) with the ability to navigate and draw inferences from data.
• Valid in-state driver license and clean driving record.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $64,000 – $69,000, with the final salary determined by factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience. Total compensation may also include discretionary annual performance bonuses and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
