Operations Associate

Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an Operations Associate to join the production team. This front-line role supports production processing across the factory’s 24/7 compressed shifts.

Schedule

• Sunday – Tuesday with every other Wednesday alternating, 5:30 AM – 6 PM
• Sunday – Tuesday with every other Saturday alternating, 5:30 PM – 6 AM
• Thursday – Friday with every other Wednesday alternating, 5:30 AM – 6 PM
• Wednesday – Friday with every other Saturday alternating, 5:30 PM – 6 AM

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery by positioning parts, loading materials, and entering specifications in accordance with engineering parameters.
• Ensure adherence to department policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and environmental health and safety requirements.
• Monitor one or more stages of the manufacturing process while equipment is running.
• Assess the quality of products and identify any nonconformities.
• Regularly inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in good working order.
• Complete productivity reports, detailing the number of parts or products made during each shift.
• Provide input into process procedures as required.
• Work with internal resources to resolve problems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Ability to read specs and follow work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift, on your feet, and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Preferred: 1-3 years of manufacturing or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented mindset.
• Forward-thinking (drives for continuous improvement).
• Ability to align to organizational values.
• Outstanding candidates will have: Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines and practices.
