About the role
The Operations and Projects Analyst supports the division’s student success mission by optimizing financial and human resources and improving operational effectiveness. This role interacts with students, campus partners, and external stakeholders to ensure services align with student needs.

- Project and Event Planning, Coordination, and Execution
- Assessment, Reporting, and Continuous Quality Improvement
Requirements
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the university infrastructure, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and budget management
- Knowledge of basic project management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills
- Skilled with core office software applications: word processing, spreadsheets, database reporting, and presentation slides
- Skilled in reporting, analyzing, and responding to budgetary details
- Skilled in project and event administration
- Skilled in analyzing operational procedures and developing proposed solutions
- Able to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks
- Able to collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management and clients on a regular basis
- Able to work with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization
- Able to research, develop, analyze, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training
- Two (2) years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Skills

Pay
Compensation Classification: Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Exempt
I Anticipated Hiring Range: $6,180/month - $6,558/month (Step 9 – Step 12)
CSU Salary Range: $5,274/month - $7,684/month (Step 1 – Step 20)
