About the role

We are hiring for an Operations and Maintenance Technician Floater with at least 3 years of experience to work in our Services department. This position reports to a Regional Service Manager and will ideally be located in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
  • Routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and various other equipment
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters
  • Ensures that all station equipment, including safety devices and systems are functioning properly, and reports any equipment failures to supervisor
  • Performs daily walk-around inspections to identify any potential risks and ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained
  • Ensures that all vendors accessing Station follow all Company Policies and Procedures
  • 24-hour on-call status required
  • Service existing accounts by routinely calling on customers, receiving calls from customers, and routine site visits
  • Respond to emergency calls and preventative maintenance calls in an organized manner
  • Responsible to book all travel and track all expenses
  • Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

Requirements

  • Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Coursework or certification in electronic technology preferred
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal for reporting purposes); attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs
  • Computer skills, schematics
  • Wide range construction technology knowledge and materials, preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to travel to other locations

Schedule

Expected hours no less than 40 per week.

Pay

The range for this role is anticipated to be $32.00 - $36.00 hourly and bonus for eligible positions. Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting. The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market/business considerations, and geographic location.
