About the role

The Operations Support role at Diamonds Direct is designed to assist with the efficient and effective operation of the business. This includes supporting inventory management, order processing, logistics coordination, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory tracking, restocking, and product movement
• Aid with order processing, packaging, and fulfillment
• Cook with shipping and logistics teams to coordinate activities
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
• Prepare merchandise for store displays or client appointments
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and procedures
• Provide administrative and operational support to internal teams
• Contribute to project coordination efforts and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Equivalent work experience in an operation, administrative, or support role may be considered in place of formal education
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
