What You'll Do
- Define and implement reporting standards for accounts receivable in service and collision, ensuring accurate tracking of payments and interactions with insurance companies
- Establish disciplinary actions and guidelines for team members who work with insurance companies to maintain compliance and timeliness
- Audit reports vs records and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure data integrity in accounts receivable systems
- Collaborate with training teams to develop and deliver process education for accounts receivable, focusing on best practices and efficiency
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable performance metrics to identify areas for improvement at the field level
- Facilitate smooth payment processes by acting as a liaison between service/collision teams, finance operations, and insurance companies, integrating EFT or other technologies
- Provide recommendations for process enhancements to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve customer satisfaction
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the automotive service or collision repair industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, data integrity, and process compliance in a service-oriented environment
- Experience working with insurance companies and navigating payment processes for service and collision claims
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage data accuracy and monitor performance metrics
- Ability to develop and deliver training materials on accounts receivable processes and policies
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and enforce disciplinary standards effectively
