Operational Language Analyst - Russian, Level 3 (2025-0030)
About the role
We are actively hiring an Operational Language Analyst - Russian, level 3 to join our Defense and Homeland Security Division working at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities
- Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material
- Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material
- Recovering essential elements of information
- Rendering translations and/or transcripts based on straightforward, factual written and/or spoken material
- Gisting straightforward written and/or spoken material
Requirements
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 2 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 2 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
- Equivalent of ten (10) years full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s)
- For at least three (3) of the six (6) years’ experience, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duty
Pay
The pay range for this position is: $170,000.00 - $185,000.00
