Responsibilities

  • Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify improvement opportunities that lead to year over year cost savings
  • Partner with site leadership team to prioritize continuous improvement projects for resource allocation & maintain an evergreen project hopper
  • Work with technical teams and finance to develop and document productivity projects and ensure savings are accurately recorded
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement at all levels through use of Root Cause analysis, PDCA methodologies, GEMBA management, 3i Unlimited, etc.
  • Support the Continuous Improvement program for the site to deliver improved results in Cost, Quality and Customer Service
  • Partner with Finance to track and forecast improvement measures
  • Lead improvement workshops, kaizen events, chalk circles, VSM and other improvement events
  • Build skills and capabilities of others in Lean methods, Cost Savings and OEE/OLE

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma improvement methods
  • Knowledge and use of Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering methods such as Time Studies, Flow Analysis and System Optimization
  • Proven experience in digitization solutions, including Power BI, SQL, and other data analytics platforms, to support data-driven decision-making, streamline reporting processes, and enhance operational visibility across the organization
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and improvement events
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and project management skills, and the ability to drive change projects with cross-functional partners to conclusion
  • Driven, self-directing, goal oriented and able to prioritize workload in an agile environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required
  • Licenses and Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations
  • Financial acumen with advanced understanding of BOMs, value add, costing, and overhead
  • Experience of operating as part of a site cross-functional team, managing stakeholder relationships, and reporting up to senior management level
  • Excellent oral communications, business writing and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel up to 10%

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $74,350 - $102,234 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
