About the role
Ecolab is seeking an Operational Excellence Leader (Total Productive Maintenance) for a manufacturing plant in Philadelphia, PA. The TPM Manager will drive TPM implementation, growth, and sustainability, and build TPM capability across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Align plant and distribution center resources with business priorities of Safety, Quality, Service, and Savings
- Aid in creating, deploying, and executing the site Master Plan
- Lead TPM strategy at the site, serve as part of the plant TPM Steering Committee, and actively participate in other pillars
- Engage as a hands-on operations team member, identify and address improvement opportunities, and engage associates at all levels
- Advocate for change in a continuous improvement environment by prioritizing and managing CI initiatives
- Build and coach effective teams that advance the site Vision and Compelling Business Needs
- Drive productivity efficiency and loss elimination by engaging associates at all levels
- Lead the site’s progression of TPM through Ecolab’s Journey to Bronze Assessment
- Deliver TPM training aligned with training plans and support the skills required to create a Loss Analysis culture
- Participate as a member of the regional TPM Community of Practice (CoP), sharing best practices and driving the organization to high performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain environment
- 5+ years of experience in CI Systems methodology (OPEX) including TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and/or project management office certification
- Experience in coaching and leading cross-functional teams, especially in productivity efficiency and loss elimination (Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, PDCA) projects
- Strong working knowledge of TPM (Operational excellence and lean manufacturing) and HPO principles and methodology (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Visual Management, Kaizen, Organizational Design)
- Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop others, and strategically plan for continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Science
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain environment
- 7+ years leading TPM implementation and leaning six sigma in a manufacturing setting
- Strong financial acumen with costing background
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
- Proven experience driving culture change using sound change management methodology

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $96,700.00 - $145,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
