About the role

The RN Circulator is a vital member of the perioperative team, responsible for providing individualized, high-quality patient care in the operating room. They collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, coordinate care, and ensure safety and excellence using evidence-based practices aligned with professional standards and organizational models.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process, deliver patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity, and partner with patients and families.
• Ensure safe, quality care through effective documentation, teamwork, and communication.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth.
• Develop protocols, promote evidence-based practices, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state)
• BLS certification
• Circulating experience in the OR with 1-2 years of direct patient care
