Experienced Operating Room RN
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert perioperative care in a high-acuity, team-based surgical environment
- Assess and prepare patients for surgery
- Circulate and scrub for a variety of procedures
- Maintain a sterile, safe environment and monitor patient status
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document care accurately in the EMR
- Support patient and family education
- Mentor newer staff and contribute to quality, safety, and process improvements
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge of perioperative nursing and surgical procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-based setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with EMR documentation and patient education
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
