About the role
Lead clinical operations and nursing excellence at a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.
Establish nursing culture, protocols, and team structure for optimal patient care.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless perioperative care delivery.
Develop and implement nursing policies aligned with accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and clinical guidelines.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise RNs and surgical technologists.
- Oversee patient care, safety, and satisfaction throughout the surgical continuum.
- Manage nursing operations, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state licensing, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia staff to optimize workflows.
- Establish quality assurance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead orientation and clinical education for perioperative staff.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing, administration, and medical staff.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required.
- RN licensure in Arizona or ability to obtain licensure.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Nurse Manager or Director in an ASC.
- Proficiency in orthopedic operating room nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ASC regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building experience.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and surgical scheduling systems.
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
- Experience with new facility openings or startup environments is a plus.
