About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Manager for Surgical Services to oversee daily operations of the Operating Room, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role involves resource management, decision-making based on clinical and financial data, and supporting a culture of compassion and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical care in the Operating Room
- Collaborate on organizational planning and promote evidence-based practice
- Ensure regulatory compliance and foster staff development and professional growth
- Recruit, support, and retain staff
- Contribute to team initiatives and organizational goals
Requirements
- BSN or higher (Master’s degree in nursing preferred)
- Current RN licensure
- National certification in specialty within one year of hire
- Minimum of five years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- Prior leadership experience preferred
