About the role
The Staff Nurse will provide care for patients in our Operating Room, working collaboratively to deliver excellent care in the safest environment. Nursing at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is known for excellent clinical practice and a patient- and family-centered approach. Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Operating Room.
- Work collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Current registration in Massachusetts; for newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- 3+ years of Operating Room (OR) experience required.
- Charge experience preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended; certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week, Category I – Every Weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
- Rotating shifts.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $41.71 - $105.65. Grade: MNA333.
