Operating Room Assistant - PRN

About the role

We are seeking an Operating Room Assistant to support the daily operations in the Operating Room. This role is responsible for preparing, assembling, and organizing the operating room environment, equipment, and supplies. The OR Assistant plays a key role in efficient room turnover between surgical cases and maintaining proper supply levels throughout the department. They also provide essential support to the surgical team to help ensure safe, smooth, and timely procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and organize the operating room environment, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain proper supply levels throughout the department
• Support the surgical team to ensure safe, smooth, and timely procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous hospital experience preferred
