Operating Room Assistant Full Time

About the role

The Operating Room Assistant at White Fence Surgical Center plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position requires weekdays only, with some later evenings.

Responsibilities

• Helping prepare the operating room
• Assisting the RN, surgeon, and anesthesiologist before, during, and after surgery
• Maintaining and cleaning the ORs and surrounding areas
• Transportation of specimens and blood products
• Assisting with patient positioning and transport
• Maintaining adequate supplies for OR room turnover

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Positive attitude, desire to efficiently support the care of patients, work in a team relationship with other health care workers to produce positive outcomes
• Previous operating room experience (preferred)
• ASC experience (preferred)
