Operating Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Crushing & Wash Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining crushing and wash-plant equipment to ensure efficient production while meeting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate crushing, screen, and wash-plant equipment
• Monitor plant performance and adjust settings as needed
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot operational issues and report equipment concerns
• Conduct daily housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment
• Complete production and equipment reports
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience operating crushing, screening, or wash-plant equipment preferred
• Ability to operate skid-steer and man-lift equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• High school graduate or GED

Pay

$22.80 – $25.35 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, no less than 40 hours per week
