OpenShift Engineer (w2 only)
We are seeking a skilled technical professional to ensure the reliability, scalability, and optimal performance of OpenShift clusters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our team is passionate about supporting mission-critical production systems, driving automation, and enabling efficient DevOps practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain RedHat OpenShift clusters in both production and non-production environments, performing upgrades as necessary.
- Monitor cluster health, manage node scalability, oversee resource optimization, and ensure high availability with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, containers, and services while participating in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
- Develop and maintain shell or Python scripts for automation, and support CI/CD pipelines through tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, or ArgoCD.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift (v4.x preferred) and Linux (RedHat Linux, CoreOS) system administration.
- Expertise in shell scripting, Bash, and/or Python as well as knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Helm, Docker, and GitOps workflows.
- Proven experience providing production support with on-call duties, incident triage, and root cause analysis in customer-facing environments.
- Relevant certifications such as RedHat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent knowledge and experience.
