OpenFOAM Expert— AI Training (Remote, Freelance)

About the role

We’re looking for a freelancer with strong expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and OpenFOAM, ideally with experience applying the software across different industries and engineering applications. You will review and annotate engineering datasets focused on OpenFOAM, applying your CFD expertise to assess technical accuracy and explain corrections. This is a remote, project-based expert role supporting AI model training and evaluation for a leading AI lab.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate engineering datasets focused on OpenFOAM
• Apply CFD expertise to assess technical accuracy of simulation data
• Explain corrections and provide technical feedback on OpenFOAM-related content

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenFOAM across multiple contexts or domains
• Knowledge of CFD simulation and analysis
• Good understanding of general-purpose meshing software and workflows
• Ability to work independently on engineering simulation projects
• At least five years of relevant experience in CFD or closely related engineering simulation work

Engagement

15–20 hours per week. Remote position open to candidates in the US, Canada, UK, or Europe. Project-based expert role; final hourly rate is determined by the client and your location.
