Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst - Mid

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide mid-level analytic expertise to the DCSA OSINT Analysis review submitted packages to ensure they meet basic submission requirements and provide direction and support to customers who must remedy package errors or have status questions.
• Produce RIRs through conducting all-source research from information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open-source materials and evaluating those facts against established DCSA risk indicators.
• Assess foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements.
• Support IS Entity Vetting (EV) mission areas including Verification and Triage Unit (VTU), Due Diligence Unit (DDU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU) by producing timely, relevant, and actionable triage, business and security-centric due diligence research, reporting, analysis, and risk management products, recommendations, and decisions to evaluate risk and FOCI.
• Provide threat integration through the Threat Integration Branch (TIB) to produce timely, relevant, and actionable threat reports that allow EV decision-makers to determine prudent actions.
• Conduct analytical research to establish threats to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA.
• Process, update, and track cases, actions, products, and reviews in the identified system of record and other databases.
• Research, synthesize, exploit, evaluate, and analyze all-source reporting on USG critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains using commercial subscription tools (e.g., Bloomberg), open-source research, Government databases, and intelligence reporting.
• Produce Threat Information Reports (TIRs) on U.S. and foreign companies and affiliated parties (key management personnel, suppliers, partners, creditors, owners, investors, and other affiliations).
• Develop analytical products that effectively articulate threats while adhering to analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards per applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions.
• Produce analytic products within established timelines and disseminate intelligence information to customers and stakeholders.
• Occasional local travel within the U.S. may be required.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with teams.

Requirements

• Active TS-SCI Clearance required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Experience applying data analysis, trend analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying intelligence information.
• Experience conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing written reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings.
• Proficiency in conducting research at classified and unclassified levels (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools).
• Knowledgeable in data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
• Superior oral and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
• High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift general office items (20-30 lbs).
• Expected in-office work five days a week with occasional telework dependent on government needs.
• U.S. driver’s license and capability to operate government vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

• DCSA and DoD work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay

$80,000.00 - $95,000.00
