Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinical care, triage, and consultative services within pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine.
- Collaborate with faculty members and clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in program development, clinical education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work on-site in Aurora, CO, with eligibility for a hybrid work schedule as determined by departmental needs.
Qualifications
- Instructor Level:
- Licensed or license-eligible in Colorado as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- Registration with State Board Agency as Advanced/Family Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- 1–3 years of pediatric clinical experience.
- Senior Instructor Level:
- Licensed or license-eligible in Colorado as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- Registration with State Board Agency as Advanced/Family Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- 5 years of pediatric clinical experience.
Condition of Employment
- Successful completion of a drug test and national criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in sleep medicine, pediatric pulmonary, or neurology.
- Prescriptive authority.
- Experience with non-invasive ventilation, XLTEK sleep software, and inpatient care.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, email, and medical technologies.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong pediatric clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships at all institutional levels.
Pay Range
- Instructor: $103,000 – $111,000 per year
- Senior Instructor: $113,000 – $121,000 per year
