This position is open rank faculty within the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the institution and provide clinical education to future healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the academic mission of the institution
• Provide clinical education to future healthcare professionals
• Participate in curriculum development and evaluation
• Engage in scholarly activity and research

Requirements

• Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi
• Experience in nursing education and/or clinical practice
• Ability to teach and mentor students

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience in higher education teaching and learning
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice
