About the Role
The Rutgers Institute for Nicotine & Tobacco Studies (INTS), in partnership with the Rutgers School of Nursing, invites applications for one or more Assistant/Associate Professor positions. INTS is one of the nation’s leading tobacco‑focused research centers, with faculty having secured over $75 million in extramural funding over the past two decades. The Rutgers School of Nursing is dedicated to excellence in education, evidence‑based research, health‑care delivery, and community‑health promotion, and is ranked among the nation’s top 15 nursing schools by U.S. News & World Report.
These open‑rank positions may be either non‑tenure track (NTT) or tenure track. The NTT track targets early‑career investigators who will primarily support ongoing funded research projects in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with established investigators to advance the Institute’s research portfolio through data analysis, manuscript preparation, and study coordination. NTT faculty are expected to contribute immediately to funded projects
