About the role
The Department of Engineering Technology is seeking applicants for two non-tenure line positions in the Faculty of Instruction or Faculty of Practice lines, at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor. These positions are part of the expanding online Master of Science program in Construction Management and the new online PhD in Construction Management at Texas State University. Both programs can be completed 100% online.
Responsibilities
- Teach masters and doctoral level courses, and some undergraduate courses as departmental needs require.
- Provide service to the department and the university.
- Engage in industry outreach.
- Mentor graduate students and provide general academic and career advising and assistance.
Requirements
Applicants with expertise in all areas related to construction management are invited to apply, with particular consideration given to candidates with experience teaching in an online mode of delivery, and with research interests in construction management, construction engineering, or civil engineering. This position is remote-work eligible.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be given the appropriate rank based on college and university standards and policies. This position is subject to the availability of funds.
