Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Patient Care - 90%
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative care for high-risk pregnancies
- Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging and diagnostic procedures (e.g., ultrasound, amniocentesis, CVS)
- Participate in labor and delivery coverage and multidisciplinary care planning
- Student/Resident/Fellow Education - 5%
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Scholarly Activities - 5%
- Participate in or lead research and scholarly activities aligned with departmental goals
- MD, DO or equivalent from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
- Experience with clinical or translational research
- Track record of scholarly publications
- Interest or experience in program development, global health, or health initiatives
- Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, education, and research
- This position is fiscal year based and works year-round.
- The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is 1.0 and considered full-time.
- Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 304 students per class. The MCG educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, with regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state, and two four-year campuses located in Athens (in partnership with the University of Georgia) and in Savannah (in partnership with Georgia Southern University).
