About the role

This is an on-call, multi-site position covering 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will not have a set schedule, and work hours will vary based on operational needs. You will work at multiple sites in Hagerstown, MD, performing truck gate access control, observing, and assisting drivers with facility access and exit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform truck gate access control
• Observe and assist drivers with facility access and exit procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check and drug test
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have prior security experience
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience, or prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Professional appearance: No visible body piercings or visible tattoos unless authorized
• Cell phone use prohibited while on site; communication via radio
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain
• May involve lifting/moving up to 25 pounds

Pay

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
