OPEN INTERVIEWS - FLEX Customer Service Security Officer
About the role
FLEX is hosting an in-person hiring event for a Customer Service Security Officer position. The event is open to walk-ins and interviews will be conducted based on availability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Secure entrances / exits.
- Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED required, or ability to complete GED program within 6 months).
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- Two years of security and customer service/hospitality experience required.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
- Great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Qualifications
Must be able to work 40+ hours per week and be eligible to work flexibly.
