OPD Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Aid the field manager in supervising a designated group of field damage specialists across the regional power and gas footprint.
• Ensure consistent application of proper techniques and processes, determination of proper liability, and maintenance of high-quality claim standards.
• Identify and implement new processes to enhance integration of PRG’s systems and methods into client management systems.
• Drive increased visibility for PRG within 811, CGA, and local damage prevention councils, fostering a successful damage prevention program.
• Communicate with Power and Gas Dispatch center to ensure proper scheduling and response times.
• Conduct ongoing safety training sessions with the Damage Specialist team members.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance meeting federal and state requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to drive to various damage sites, including daytime and nighttime travel.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or reach as necessary to perform essential job duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Previous experience in investigations and/or law enforcement.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with the utility or utility locating industry.
• Background in business operations with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Compensation And Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary of $60,000 - $65,000, based on experience. Along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
