About the role
As a Warehouse Manager (On-Site Manager), you’ll manage an entire site within a customer’s distribution center. You’ll build and maintain the customer relationship, oversee all operations, and ensure high employee satisfaction for your team of 3–25 associates across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
- Manage all administrative and manufacturing employees, including scheduling, workload coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Communicate goals, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and develop associates, and assist with the new hire process in collaboration with HR.
- Handle employee relations issues locally with support from Corporate HR.
- Analyze site data to drive continuous improvements in operational excellence.
- Draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Monitor employee performance and workload to meet expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in retail management, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Retail/service industry experience is ideal.
- Proficient in MS Office products.
- Spanish language skills are a plus in many locations.
- Forklift certification required.
- Valid driver’s license for required travel.
Work Environment
- Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and air particulates.
- Repetitive body movements such as bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing for entire shifts of varying lengths.
- Forklift operation may require sitting for long periods.
- Noise levels vary by location; personal protective equipment (PPE) required (e.g., eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).
- Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, and color vision.
- May be required to lift pallets by hand, weighing between 50–75 lbs.

Pay
USD $65,000.00 – USD $70,000.00 per year.
