About the role
The Onsite Support Representative plays a crucial role in the CribMaster team, focusing on on-site support for various brands including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair, substitution, or replacement of faulty hardware as necessary
- Install, reinstall, or reprogram software as needed
- Test and check solutions, perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and software
- Document work done in customer ticketing system
- Follow-up with customers after the solution has been implemented
- Provide entry-level support for hardware, Automated Tool Room, RFID, and CribMaster related computer issues
Requirements
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and software components
- Familiarity with assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of all hardware components
- Practical knowledge of assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of CribMaster hardware machines
- Familiarity with manufacturing and inventory
- Ability to learn installation and setup of CribMaster and ATR applications
- Troubleshooting skills in hardware and software components
- Mechanical knowledge of tools for hardware repairs and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Bachelor’s Degree or two years of work experience troubleshooting for customers in a technical environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and HP PC hardware
- Ability to pass a Government Secret Clearance
