About the role

The Onsite Support Representative plays a crucial role in the CribMaster team, focusing on on-site support for various brands including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair, substitution, or replacement of faulty hardware as necessary
  • Install, reinstall, or reprogram software as needed
  • Test and check solutions, perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and software
  • Document work done in customer ticketing system
  • Follow-up with customers after the solution has been implemented
  • Provide entry-level support for hardware, Automated Tool Room, RFID, and CribMaster related computer issues

Requirements

  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and software components
  • Familiarity with assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of all hardware components
  • Practical knowledge of assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of CribMaster hardware machines
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and inventory
  • Ability to learn installation and setup of CribMaster and ATR applications
  • Troubleshooting skills in hardware and software components
  • Mechanical knowledge of tools for hardware repairs and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Bachelor’s Degree or two years of work experience troubleshooting for customers in a technical environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and HP PC hardware
  • Ability to pass a Government Secret Clearance
