About the role

The Onsite School Psychology Evaluation Manager serves as the central operational anchor supporting the end-to-end psychological evaluation process. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of psychological evaluations, tracking, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with evaluation timelines across both onsite and virtual providers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of psychological evaluations, including intake, assignment, tracking, and completion.
  • Ensure all evaluations are completed within required compliance timelines.
  • Partner closely with onsite client point of contact to maintain alignment on priorities and compliance.
  • Maintain tracking systems to monitor evaluation progress across all providers (onsite and virtual).
  • Identify delays, gaps, or risks to compliance and escalate as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to district, state, and federal requirements.
  • Investigate root causes of delays in evaluation completion.
  • Collaborate with the onsite client and Huddle Up staff to remove barriers and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, or coordination challenges impacting service delivery, including working with the facilitation team.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the client, building staff, Huddle Up, and service providers.
  • Communicate updates, risks, and progress clearly across stakeholders.
  • Support alignment and consistency across schools and service teams.
  • Support a high-quality and consistent experience for students and providers.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in School Psychology, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Prior experience in K-12 public school-based education, special education, and school psychology required
  • Prior experience working within the Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) Special Education system is strongly preferred

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be based in or local to Detroit, Michigan
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Detroit Public Schools on a weekly basis (up to 50%)
  • Strong project management and process coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders and teams
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using tracking, reporting, or workflow management tools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting or working within virtual service delivery models is preferred

Pay

The on target earnings for this role are $90,000 - $100,000. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, experience and other qualifications.
