Onsite Property Attendant

About the Role

Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on Property Attendant who is a committed team player, flexible in completing multiple hotel responsibilities including general preventative maintenance, cleaning public areas, prepping rooms for housekeeping, and assisting with laundry duties. This position lives onsite and assists with taking call overnight to oversee the property after hours, performing a wide variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders promptly while adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule, including carpet shampooing, hard‑surface floor cleaning, light electrical work (e.g., changing outlets or wall switches), light plumbing (e.g., plunging or snaking toilets, unclogging sinks), drywall repair, painting, caulking, etc.
• Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, providing orders to management as needed.
• Prep rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs.
• Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure security needs of the property and guests are met.
• Assist with checking guests in and out during after‑hours, providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest needs or concerns.
• Be on call overnight for after‑hours guest needs.
• Perform public‑space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, and other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive climbing of stairs and occasional ladders.
• Tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb.
