Onsite Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Load and unload solid and liquid waste & recyclables safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and local regulations/rules.
• Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, fork trucks with attachments and other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the facility.
• Safely operate equipment to process materials including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks and pressure washers.
• Properly sort materials based on pre-established guidelines for additional processing.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Additionally, perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School or Equivalent
• Preferred Prior forklift experience
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations preferred
• Ability to understand general industry practices
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator
