Key Accountabilities

• Supervise and lead a crew of employees at one of our customer locations
• Operate a forklift
• Provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure operating efficiency and highest level of customer service
• Coach employees to model company values and culture
• Communicate effectively with customers and employees
• Manage and oversee CHEP Safety Program at the facility
• Ensure understanding of key processes by employees (production, safety, servicing)
• Coordinate inbound/outbound flow of product (forklifts and trucks)
• Input data daily and interact with drivers
• Perform warehouse operations and forklift operation
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and/or logistics environment
• Prior forklift operations experience
• Proven track record of success and stability (1 to 3 years)
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations and requirements
• Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines and commitments
• Mechanically inclined (electric/conveyor knowledge is a plus)
• P&L and budgeting experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior forklift operations experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Desirable: Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 – 5 years of Equivalent work experience
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Skills & Knowledge

• Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Demonstrated solid decision making
• Works well unsupervised
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule

• Mainly works 1st shift Monday through Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• May need to work weekends and 2nd shift as needed
• 2nd shift Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Benefits

• Base pay range is $67,120 - $90,000 annually
• Actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided
