Pay
$23 to $25 per hour, paid biweekly.
Schedule
40 hours per week. Non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws.
- Ensure safety standards are followed and comply with all statutes, guidelines, and codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues, reporting findings to the property management team as per local protocols.
- Escalate complex issues to a supervisor or as directed by local team protocols.
- Keep the property management team informed of the property’s condition and coordinate resolution of outstanding issues using appropriate software.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks as directed.
- Provide your own tools as necessary to carry out assigned tasks.
- Attend all staff, training, and other required meetings.
- Maintain a clean-cut, professional appearance, wearing company shirts and uniforms when available and safe.
- Ensure property grounds and common areas are clean and in good condition.
- Use and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety materials.
- Ensure building systems, especially life safety systems, are preventatively maintained according to local requirements and manufacturer recommendations.
- Conduct and document periodic property, unit, move-in, and move-out inspections.
- Perform tasks in a workman-like manner following the property’s operating plan and budgets.
- Coordinate, monitor, and support third-party vendors while on site.
Requirements
- At least one year of residential maintenance repair experience.
- A strong technical background in basic repairs.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs, bend, reach, and perform all physical tasks associated with the position.
