Pay and Schedule
- Pay Range: $27 to $29/hourly
- Pay Frequency: Biweekly
- Position Hours: 40 Hours/Week
- FSA: Non-Exempt
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, applicable state statutes, and all other laws pertaining to residential rentals.
- Ensure safety standards are used and comply with all statutes, guidelines, and codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose the cause of related maintenance issues and report findings to the property management team.
- Escalate complex issues to a supervisor or as directed.
- Keep property management team informed of the overall condition of the property and coordinate the resolution of outstanding issues.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks as directed.
- Provide your own tools as necessary to carry out assigned tasks.
- Attend all staff, training, and other meetings as set by the management team.
- Maintain a clean-cut, professional presentation always. Company shirts and uniforms should be worn when available and as safety allows. Stained or damaged clothing should not be worn.
- Ensure that property grounds and common areas are always clean and in good condition.
- Ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety materials are always used. Ensure PPE is maintained onsite in quantities, conditions and locations necessary to ensure safe and efficient working conditions for yourself, fellow staff and residents.
- Ensure building systems, especially life safety systems, are preventatively maintained in accordance with local requirements and manufacturer recommendations.
- Conduct and document periodic property, unit, move-in, and move-out inspections.
- All tasks should be performed in a workman-like manner following the property’s property management operating plan and budgets.
- Care for and maintain the property grounds and common areas.
- Coordinate, monitor and support third-party vendors while on site.
- At least one year of residential maintenance repair
- A strong technical background in basic repairs
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs, bend over, reach and perform all physical tasks associated with the position
