Role Overview: The Lab Support Clerk is responsible for specimen preparation, data entry, and accessioning within a clinical laboratory setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingAccurately and promptly enter patient dataResearch, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen issuesPack and ship specimens to designated testing facilitiesPerform specimen spinning, freezing, splitting, and other specialized services as needed Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of laboratory, accessioning, production, or manufacturing experienceAbility to correctly identify and label biological specimensStrong organizational skills with high attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 40 poundsPass standardized color blindness test
