About the role

Strong Azure-focused Cloud Architect with deep enterprise architecture experience, hands-on Terraform and DevOps/DevSecOps expertise, and proven experience in healthcare environments. Ideal candidate has multiple Azure certifications, drives cloud strategy, and communicates effectively with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise cloud architecture strategy (Azure-first environment)
• Design scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions aligned with business goals
• Drive cloud transformation initiatives and standardization across teams
• Lead DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including automation using Terraform
• Evaluate new technologies and build proof of concepts for future roadmap
• Provide technical leadership and mentor senior engineers
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards

Required skills and qualifications

• Azure Cloud Architecture (must be primary cloud)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Required
• Enterprise Architecture experience
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• DevOps / DevSecOps pipelines and practices
• Cloud Security & Governance
• Hybrid Cloud Architecture
• Strong stakeholder communication / business alignment
• Experience in Healthcare / Hospital / Health Systems IT

Preferred qualifications

• Azure certifications (strongly preferred): Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer / Architect
• Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (HIPAA or similar)

Ideal candidate profile

• 10+ years in cloud engineering with recent experience as Architect/Principal-level
• Azure specialist
• Hands-on + strategic (can design + guide execution)
• Prior experience in healthcare domain environments
• Excellent communicator who can influence leadership and cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to define processes, standards, and long-term cloud strategy

Location & work requirements

Philadelphia, PA (3 days onsite/week). Duration: Fulltime. Locals or from nearby states only, as an onsite interview is required. W2 Only.
