OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Temp/ Full Time
About the Role
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a temporary full-time position, 5 days per week, serving our Lakewood, NJ area communities. This medically oriented dermatology role treats patients who would otherwise go without dedicated dermatology care, focusing on the detection and treatment of pre-cancers, cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin discomforts. You will step into an established patient base and diagnose untreated skin cancers, saving the lives of a vulnerable, underserved patient population.
OnSite Dermatology is a highly respected national organization providing mobile dermatology services to seniors living in retirement communities and nursing homes. All communities are grouped by location, with typically 2-3 communities visited per day. Daily travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Conduct full-body skin exams, biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.
Requirements
- 1-year medical dermatology experience required.
- Valid state PA or NP license.
- Geriatric experience is a plus.
