Founded in 1998, Propio Language Services provides interpreting and translation services that help facilitate communication across healthcare, education, government, legal, social-service, and other settings. Propio supports clients across more than 350 languages through a network of experienced language professionals. We currently have opportunities for Spanish Onsite Contract Interpreters in the Virginia Beach VA area who are passionate about using their language skills to facilitate accurate and meaningful communication.
This opportunity is for independent contract services and does not create an employer-employee relationship. Contractors may accept or decline offered assignments and are not guaranteed a minimum number of assignments or hours. Contractors may provide services to other organizations, subject to applicable confidentiality, security, and conflict-of-interest requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during accepted onsite assignments.
- Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
- Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
