Online Sales Consultant

This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in one of the following states: Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida.
About the role
The Online Sales Consultant (OSC) plays a key role in the initial internet-based home search of potential Stanley Martin home buyers. Often the first point of contact, the OSC captures and converts online and phone leads into appointments with Neighborhood Sales Managers, who continue the sales and contracting process.
Responsibilities
- Use customer-focused sales skills to convert online and phone leads into neighborhood appointments by investigating needs and providing relevant product and neighborhood information.
- Track and update lead data—including contact information, home buying preferences, neighborhoods of interest, and marketing sources—through CRM software.
- Engage and nurture unresponsive leads to convert them into appointments and sales, following the Stanley Martin cadence.
- Work with Neighborhood Sales Managers (NSMs) to follow up on lead appointments and assist in closing or problem-solving as needed.
- Participate in re-engagement efforts (surveys, phone-a-thons, text-a-thons) for leads and stalled neighborhood traffic to drive incremental sales.
- Collaborate with marketing and divisional sales to stay updated on neighborhoods, products, and promotions.
- Audit and work with corporate marketing to improve website listings for every neighborhood and product.
- Assist NSMs in identifying and updating accurate neighborhood information on StanleyMartin.com.
- Attend sales meetings and status calls with sales leadership to review lead feedback and conversion information.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with potential customers and home buyers.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements
- College degree preferred.
- Sales experience, lead management, or online sales experience.
Skills
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of MS Office; CRM experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, including responding to objections and keeping the process moving.

Pay
- Maryland: $61,700.00 – $70,300.00 annually plus bonus.
- Virginia: $61,700.00 – $70,300.00 annually plus bonus.
