Online Physics Tutor

About the role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Physics Tutors who can confidently support students in Physics from middle school through college level. The ideal tutor can also teach other Science subjects such as Chemistry, Environmental Science, or general high school science. The ability to tutor Math is a major plus and can increase your schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Support students in Physics from middle school through college level
• Tutor other Science subjects such as Chemistry, Environmental Science, or general high school science
• Tutor Math to increase schedule availability
• Build genuine connections with students to foster academic success
• Collaborate with a supportive community of tutors for ongoing growth and development
• Provide professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
• Connect with students during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) to maximize student availability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
• At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience
• Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years
• At least 1 year of online tutoring experience
• Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards
• Strong subject matter expertise in Physics, with the ability to tutor additional Science subjects
• Ability to tutor Science subjects between 6th grade and college level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) to connect with more students
