Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, paying attention to freshness and quality.

• Assemble customers' online orders.
• Process coupons and payment.
• Deliver and load orders to customers' cars upon arrival.

Scan and bag orders on the go while adhering to bagging standards.

• E-Commerce team member communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up time.

Meet and exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.

• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Read and follow directions given in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond professionally and promptly.

Pick-Up Clerk provides a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat business.

• Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Determine appropriate substitutions in case of out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and report items needing repair to the store Pick-Up supervisor or other store management.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
