One to One Observer- Full Time Days Mount Holly

About the role

The One to One Observer provides personal, constant observation of a patient, communicates with and supports the healthcare team, patients, and/or the patient’s family or significant others, and maintains high standards of professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient, ensuring a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm setting.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to the RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in the orientation of the healthcare team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
