Primary Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management
    • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
    • Capture photos and videos during programs and events.
    • Monitor engagement and recommend strategies to increase reach and audience interaction.
    • Aid in social media campaigns promoting programs, events, and community initiatives.
  • Marketing Strategy
    • Collaborate on organization-wide marketing campaigns across all One Knox Collective programs (Recreational, Youth Club, Adult Social).
    • Research marketing trends and community engagement strategies.
    • Aid in developing branding and promotional strategies for new initiatives.
  • Website Management
    • Update website content, event information, and program pages.
    • Ensure branding and messaging remain consistent across the website.
    • Aid in creating landing pages for campaigns and events.
  • Email Marketing
    • Design and distribute email newsletters.
    • Create email campaigns for program updates, fundraising efforts, volunteer opportunities, and special events.
    • Maintain and organize email contact lists.
  • Graphic Design & Print Materials
    • Design flyers, brochures, handouts, posters, banners, and/or promotional materials.
    • Create branded templates for internal and external communications.
    • Support event marketing with printed and digital promotional assets.
    • Ensure all materials align with One Knox Collective branding.
  • Community Engagement & In-Person Marketing
    • Represent One Knox Collective at community events, outreach opportunities, and partner meetings.
    • Aid in event setup, promotion, and attendee engagement.
    • Distribute marketing materials and connect with community members.
    • Support photography and storytelling during programs and events.

    Qualifications

    • Current undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
    • Familiarity with Canva or similar design software.
    • Basic knowledge of website management platforms is a plus.
    • Creative, organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
    • Passion for community impact.

    Compensation
