About the role

Dienstverlening & Producten (D&P) is a practical profile in upper secondary vocational education (VMBO), where students build upon the knowledge and skills they have developed in lower secondary education. During lessons, students work on realistic practical assignments in areas such as cooking, organizing, presenting, entrepreneurship, ICT, and service provision. By learning in a practical environment, students develop not only professional skills but also independence, teamwork, and a professional attitude. Within D&P, we work with up-to-date, partly self-developed lesson materials that align with occupational practice and examination programs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers during both practical and theoretical lessons within the D&P profile;
• Guiding students during practical assignments and providing appropriate support when needed;
• Preparing, setting up, and tidying up lesson materials and practical spaces;
• Maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment during lessons;
• Assisting with organizational tasks within the department;
• Broadly supporting colleagues and performing preparatory tasks within the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has affinity with practical VMBO education and enjoys guiding students through various practical lessons;
• Supports students during practical assignments, such as cooking, organizing, presenting, and other D&P activities;
• Works practically, structures tasks, and ensures that materials and practical spaces are ready for lessons;
• Stimulates students to work independently, responsibly, and collaboratively on realistic assignments;
• Has an eye for safety, hygiene, and a pleasant learning environment during practical lessons;
• Is a committed colleague who actively participates in teamwork and initiative-taking.

What we offer

• Salary according to the Collective Labour Agreement for Vocational Education (CAO VO), scale 8 €3.022,-- €4.449,-;
