The RN Clinical Nurse plays a vital role within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Include Performing the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.Providing relationship-based care tailored to patients' cultural and demographic needs, involving patients and families in care planning.Ensuring timely and accurate documentation, promoting interdisciplinary communication, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.Participating in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes and team collaboration.Serving as a mentor or preceptor to support professional development and sustain a qualified workforce.Upholding nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, including safety protocols.Engaging in ongoing competency assessments, population-specific education, and evidence-based practice to continually improve care quality. Qualifications And Skills Active nursing license and adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and contribute to quality improvement efforts.Commitment to professional growth, mentorship, and evidence-based practices.
